She dropped to the ground as memories of their past bombarded her. She held on tight to her arms and sobbed. Heart wrenching sobs that tore at his soul. Did it have to come this? How much could a heart lose before it was near impossible to forgive again? How far can a woman go to make the man who broke her understand all the pain that she’s gone through?

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass, see my concave reflection and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I hadn’t drunk this beer, they might all be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, “It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.”
